Join me in my beautiful attic studio with a view across York’s rooftops to York Minster to design and carve your own Christmas linocut and then print it onto a selection of cards and papers.
Always a wonderful, creative, fun day!
In the morning you will design and carve your own linocut. In the afternoon you will print your design onto cards. You will leave with your Christmas cards and your linocut.
This workshop is suitable for beginners or those with prior experience of linoprinting. Plenty of guidance will be given throughout and there will be art books and ideas available for design inspiration. If you already know what you‘d like to print then do bring a picture with you on the day.
Tea, coffee and homemade flapjack provided. Please bring a packed lunch with you.
Please note the studio is on the third floor and there are a lot of stairs. If access is a problem do please contact me. I would be happy to run a group workshop at your own venue.
