Join me in my beautiful attic studio with a view across York’s rooftops to York Minster to design and carve your own linocut and then print it onto a beautiful cotton/linen cushion cover to take home.
Always a wonderful, creative, fun day!
In the morning you will design and carve your own linocut. In the afternoon you will print your design onto a cotton/linen cushion cover to create a unique piece of art for your home. You will leave with your cushion cover and your linocut that you can use for your own printing at home.
This workshop is suitable for beginners or those with prior experience of linoprinting. Plenty of guidance will be given throughout and there will be art books and ideas available for design inspiration. If you already know what you‘d like to print then do bring a picture with you on the day.
Tea, coffee and homemade flapjack provided. Please bring a packed lunch with you.
Please note the studio is on the third floor and there are a lot of stairs. If access is a problem do please contact me. I would be happy to run a group workshop at your own venue.
