Red squirrel printed in rusty brown by me on my vintage book binding press using vegetable oil based ink onto quality handmade A4 size lokta paper.
Available unframed or framed in an A4 wood effect frame.
Red squirrels are our native UK squirrels and have lived here for around 10,000 years. At threat from grey squirrels introduced by the Victorians and habitat loss they have retreated to wilder areas and are becoming increasingly rare. My linoprint depicts one of the red squirrels at my nearby Castle Howard Arboretum’s red squirrel enclosure, a small conservation breeding group for reintroductions.
